Shirley's 42-minute video, released the Friday after Christmas, documented his visits to supposedly operational daycare centers across Minneapolis. What he found shocked the nation.
The first facility he visited should have housed 99 children and received $1.9 million in fiscal year 2025 alone.
Total disbursements to this single center topped $4 million. But when Shirley approached the building, labeled "Quality Learing Center" with "learning" grotesquely misspelled on the sign, no children were visible anywhere.
The office appeared completely closed.
