Trump Fires Back Over Amazon Melania Deal
Arriving at the Premiere
President Trump and First Lady Melania showed up for the premiere of Melania, the documentary that follows the 20 days before his second inauguration. The red carpet was busy and the cameras were rolling, which means the press was ready to lob questions that needed answering. The film has sparked attention because of the big money involved and the usual media circus followed every step of the way. Reporter Opens with the Money Question.
A New York Times reporter walked up with the predictable question about Amazon paying to acquire the movie. The reporter claimed large sums were spent to make and market the film and wanted Trump to react to Amazon’s reported purchase amount.
It is the kind of gotcha moment the press likes when a big check gets mentioned and the obvious follow up is whether the payment is fair or political.
When the reporter pressed, Trump did not play along. He interrupted to ask who was asking the question and then dismissed that outlet as Fake News.
It was classic Trump style: blunt, not polite, and aimed at taking the air out of the room. He made it clear he recognized the theater of questions and refused to be boxed into a scripted answer.

I hope Melania made tens of millions off of the movie. All of the family ought to take advantage of the position they've been blessed with instead of just letting it pass them by. Only the marxist dems think otherwise.
I hope the movie does well. It's not the kind of film I have any interest in, but then, neither was 2001 Space Odessey. People have different interests and should pursue them. Not be forced to like something or not like it because it is of a political nature.
What does concern me is Trump's preoccupation with Architectural Projects. He hopefully will have time to pursue these hobbies and interests three years from now. His poll numbers are down drastically and talk about the Kennedy Center will only drive his poll numbers down further. Some of the performances, or what we call Art, these days, I wouldn't take my dog or cat to see anyway. Trump has to concentrate on issues that got him elected, not Pie in the Sky projects that nobody cares about. And if they do care about it, let whoever they are pay for it and use up their time for it, not the American people's time.
Trump is not preoccupied with architecture. The ballroom is being constructed by personal money and donations where the government will have a proper size room for events. The Kennedy Center from what I understand is in need of a lot of work even crumbling in certain areas.
He IS involved in all the issues that got him elected in a landslide. Perhaps you don't listen to networks that do report on all of these.
After one year, it is still taking time to get out of the Biden nightmare. Democrats love to talk about immigration and affordability, their buzz words. They have to have something negative to hold on to and defunding ICE and law enforcement is isane.
