'COMMON SENSE': Trump makes urgent request of Tim Walz, Jacob Frey and 'EVERY Democrat Governor and Mayor'

President also calls on Congress 'to immediately pass Legislation to END Sanctuary Cities, which is the root cause of all of these problems'

President Donald Trump on Sunday urged Congress to immediately pass legislation that would end sanctuary cities, and also called on "every" Democrat governor and mayor in America to formally cooperate with his administration to enforce U.S. laws.

In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump announced: "I am hereby calling on [Minnesota] Governor [Tim] Walz, [Minneapolis] Mayor [Jacob] Frey, and EVERY Democrat Governor and Mayor in the United States of America to formally cooperate with the Trump Administration to enforce our Nation's Laws, rather than resist and stoke the flames of Division, Chaos, and Violence."
