Jacksonville Woman Smiled After Punching Florida Trooper During ICE Operation Until DeSantis Said This
Democrat-run cities have turned into war zones over immigration enforcement.Violence against law enforcement has become the new normal in places like Minneapolis. But a Florida activist just learned the hard way that Ron DeSantis doesn't play those games.
Jennifer Cruz of Jacksonville drove her white Dodge Ram pickup into a traffic stop on Tuesday, recording on her phone while tailgating marked patrol cars. The 40-year-old followed troopers into a Beach Boulevard parking lot near Mi Pueblo Mexican grocery store and started screaming at officers conducting an immigration enforcement operation.
When Florida Highway Patrol troopers tried to address her traffic violations, they discovered her driver's license had been suspended since June 2025. Cruz refused to hand over her keys and threatened officers before punching a trooper in the face with a closed fist, breaking the trooper's nose and injuring her fingers.
Then she kicked at a female officer while other law enforcement members restrained her. And in the middle of this violent assault on law enforcement, Cruz smiled directly at the dashcam like she was posing for a trophy photo.
Cruz thought Florida operated under the same rules where attacking cops carries no consequences. She was wrong.
Florida arrested Cruz immediately and charged her with eight felonies and six misdemeanors, including resisting an officer with violence, battery on law enforcement, and fleeing police.

Yeah, she thought she was in DC and might be mistaken as a MAGA supporter. Then she would be pardoned by Trump after beating the hell out of cops.
