Trump Executive Order Bypasses California Wildfire Permits

Trump Just Gave LA Fire Survivors The One Thing Newsom And Bass Refused To Provide For A Year

One year after wildfires destroyed nearly 40,000 acres and 13,000 homes in Los Angeles, families watched their neighborhoods turn to ash while politicians promised help.

The Federal Government cleared 2.6 million tons of debris in six months – the fastest cleanup in American history. But then California Democrats stepped in and everything stopped.

Trump signed an executive order Friday directing FEMA and the Small Business Administration to bypass California's permitting nightmare entirely. Builders can now self-certify they've met health and safety standards to a federal designee instead of waiting months for Sacramento bureaucrats to move paperwork.

The order preempts state and local permitting processes that Trump determined "unduly impeded" federal emergency relief funds, with FEMA required to publish proposed regulations within 30 days and final rules within 90 days.

The order also directs federal agencies to expedite waivers under the National Environmental Protection Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act – every green regulation Democrats use to block construction.

After 365 days, fewer than 10 homes have been completely rebuilt out of 13,000 destroyed.
