And a top Democrat made one statement about shutting down government that had conservatives fuming. Minnesota Congresswoman Angie Craig became the latest Democrat to threaten shutting down the federal government over ICE enforcement.

Craig appeared on CNN's Laura Coates Live Thursday night and refused to rule out forcing a government shutdown to strip ICE of funding. Host Laura Coates asked Craig point blank if she supported threatening a shutdown to curb ICE powers. Craig danced around the question with Washington, D.C. politician-speak.

"All options have to be on the table," Craig stated. The Minnesota Democrat claimed she'd look to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for "guidance" on how to proceed.

Craig tried to pivot to attacking Republicans over healthcare but her message was crystal clear.

Democrats are willing to shut down the government to protect illegal aliens and punish ICE agents doing their jobs.
