Bongino told this on "Fox & Friends" in a May appearance."I stare at these four walls all day in D.C., by myself, divorced from my wife — not divorced, but I mean separated — and it's hard," Bongino added. "I mean, we love each other, and it's hard to be apart."
Did he tell the whole truth why he resigned? We will never know. He was with the Secret Service for 12 years. He plans to return to Florida, (he lives in Suart) where sources say he is going to resume his job as a pro-Trump broadcaster.

It's only a few years ago that Dan gave up his hour long show on Fox. I think he just likes the radio and wants to do what he likes. He's had a pretty interesting life and wants to be close to home. I think that's perfectly understandable.
