Reasonable cost of living? I was paying $6000 a year for home insurance and $2000 a year for car insurance. I'm tired of paying for all the deadbeat bad drivers who don't have insurance. I guess I should be happy to even own a home because the average home in South Florida now costs over $400,000.

"Reasonable?" Don't make me laugh. This state is the pits.

Obviously, New York is one of the more expensive places to live.

Florida has very high car insurance rates, but they have no car inspections.

They have no State Income Tax, and you get a break on your property taxes if you are homesteaded, but Hurricane insurance and Homeowners' policies are very high.

I don't think there are any good places to live that are inexpensive.

Everything has a price.
