what point are you trying to make by posting crime activity in LW? everyone knows that the city has its problems...are you trying to say that LW has more than its share...or there wouldnt be all this crime if the PBSO did their job...you're a bit of a trouble maker yourself...you like to stir the pot..theres no need to constantly post how F'd-up this city is....dangerous streets...mayor and commissioners not doing their jobs...money being wasted...even complaining about parking stickers... anyone who is awake can see the problems....You definitely have blog security....this city is stuck in the mud....wheels spinning... not going anywhere. Im not being a pessimist.....but according to you the town is in bad shape...after reading your blog who in their right mind would want to come here? You keep complaining...the citizens keep complaining,,,and yet the beat goes on. You're making a name for yourself as the one your blog people look to for answers...yet you have no answers....just more crime data.
I agree--who in their right mind WOULD want to come here? Get the mess cleaned up and stop trying to hide the truth.
This is not a PR blog for the city. they do that very well on their own. this does, however, expose the facts. Get it touch with your BCE and have them do something about it.

12:12 all anyone has to do is google Lake Worth Crime and it is all there for viewing. You are blaming this blog for calling attention to the deplorable conditions that are getting worse? What? Tell you what, go to little Les Lackman's blog that has nothing to say about anything. Mr. Goody Two shoes wouldn't have a blog if it weren't for this one.
It's damn disgusting that we ahve so much crime here and the gangs are back. The mroe often it is exposed, the better chance we have of getting it cleaned up. thanks for reporting on it. Now sheriffs, do somethign about it.
hehe, the "blogger" is covering crime in Greenfield where Stantan lives. Is he losing it? Maybe he can move there and keep the place in shape.
There are a lot of problems in our city anony above @ 2:12. Should people be informed or stay in the dark? It's bad enough with city hall keeping everything a big, dark secret. It's bad enough when we spend $15 million on PBSO and crime is up. Would a real estate agent tell a client the truth if he asked or would he come back with some ridiculous statement like crime is everywhere, even in Greenfield, Calif.
Let's take a look at LW through clear glasses, not rose colored ones.
Crime is so bad again, last night when I was driving home at 1am, I was flagged down by a man on the corner of North C Street and 3rd Ave North he had been mugged. He wanted me to call 911 so I did. The Guatemalan man was attack by two black males who drove a newer black 2-door car who held him and took his wallet and phone and then beat him up and left. He was bloody and had a cut lip. He was so shaken up and was crying, I felt so bad for him. The police took about 5-10 min. to get there so I stayed with him. I felt so bad for him. These Guat bashings must still be happening here, very sad.
We need cameras and more cops on every corner, we need to clean up and start preventing these Guat bashings again. I cried for about an hour after I got home after seeing this and helping him. These crimes are so inhumane.

I agree with you Lynn, realtors are so greedy and corrupt, all they want to do is sell and make loads of money, they lie about everything, for some reason most realtors never want to hear the TRUTH. They loving selling all these dumpy properties to "investors" who then rent them out to crack cocaine single mothers who do not keep up their homes they rent. Realtors can live in the nice areas of the city or on Palm Beach, yet sell all these homes at inflated prices to a crime infested city like ours. The realtors, PBSO, city admin, CRA, and developers are all in cahoots, selling a big lie to our city, but never addressing the crime we have here or address code violations and blight. I do not trust even one realtor, and in Lake Worth, most are such snakes. No wonder why so many realtors want to be on our city boards. Very very sad.

2:12 your buddy mark has crime listed in his paper every week. Say the same damn things to him. On the other hand, he wouldn't get it.
