Lake Worth site is OUT for Spring Training camp --County officials said John Prince Park, west of Lake Worth, is not a
potential site for a new spring training baseball complex because of
issues related to state money that was used in the past for park
improvements. (In other words, this means there are deed restrictions on the property).
According to the office of the assistant county administrator, on Tuesday, the Palm Beach County Commissioners have this on the Agenda as a Receive and File presentation as they have stated they want to preserve major league baseball in south Florida. No one is certain whether the Power Point will be actually given.

Well I guess there is alway's the Golf Course, or The Park of Commerse.
Lynn, are you for anything the city pursues. You really seem to delight when things do not work out. Always sarcastic comments. You do not contribute anything. Even your blog is phony. You post mostly opinions that agree with you and call it debate. When a couple of us at ROLOH criticized our president and asked that he step down for the immature letter he wrote, you ignored us. Yet you post any nonsense Katie comes up with, juvenile and profane as it is.
Yeah, right--don't take your caps off. :)
that will NEVER happen either.
What I am FOR, anonymous, (4:08)is thoughtful debate--not nasty personal attacks against a neighborhood president or commissioners setting up a neighborhood vice president in front of the public and the press. You have an ax to grind with Mr. Wapoles, write him directly or post with your real name here. You can't attack someone anonymously like that.
So, you don't like my blog--don't come over here. Simple solution that I would have thought you would have thought about. Too simple for ya?
anonymous at 4:08 what is your problem? can't handle truth? you read sarcasm into this blog? How's that? perhaps it is you with the problem. Lynn said it would never be at John prince park and she was right. Can't stand her being right? go see a doctor.
Are you totally out of your mind, anony at 3:48? Sounds like it. The only thing that this city does is bring in more cheap rentals, slums and blight.
@4:46, what the hell do you do besides complain.
Anon at 4 46 I was talking about those being options for the Stadium..
I remember Cmr Maxwell accusing the Commission that succeeded in creating our fabulous Casino, kept our RO water instead of buying inferior water from the County, and gave notice to get us out of the exorbitant FMPA contract of being in love with "shiny objects".
His pipe dream of a stadium in Lake Worth seems to have been an indication of his love for the "shiny objects" for which he was so critical of previous Cmrs.
