The Florida House has approved SB 736 with a vote of 80 to 39. The vote went according to Party Lines with only one Democrat voting for the Bill. It was NOT Jeff Clemens. He must believe that lousy teachers should get the same raise as an excellent teacher.
The controversial bill approves a merit pay plan for teachers and ends tenure for new hires. Gov. Rick Scott says that he will sign the Bill.

Jeff wants to make it more difficult for kids to get scholarships but wants bad teachers to get the same raise as poor ones. Does not sound logical.
