I want to acknowledge the people who came around to the various precincts yesterday and offered food and drink to us who were working. They put their personal thoughts and political views in their pocket for that moment and we all became one. It was nice and shows what a little reaching out will do. Thanks Mary Lindsey (I still miss that little red truck) and Mr. & Mrs. Jennings who stopped by Our Savior Lutheran Church several times throughout the day.

Everyone I was working beside was very touched by the kindness that was extended to all of us - no matter what "side" we were on.
It was a very kind and humane thing to do. Let's not forget Retha and her friends & family who feeds everyone at the South "E" Street voting spot.
Imagine what could happen in this town if we all would Pay it Forward.
