In spite of the fact these statistics are old, we still have plenty of crime in our city. Commissioner Amoroso gives the company line that crime is down. No one believes it. I doubt if he does either. Although the article says we added five more deputies in Lake Worth, no one sees them and two were supposed to be dedicated to the beach. I never see one there either.

I watched this momentous occasion last night. They arrived around 3am with the President, Mrs. Trump, the Vice President and Mrs. Pence there to greet them. All were stoic but one had a slight smile. I decided it was simply their culture or perhaps all they had endured. They deplaned with arms in the air and giving the peace sign.
The freed Americans told the State Department upon touching down in Alaska Wednesday evening: “We would like to express our deep appreciation to the United States government, President Trump, Secretary Pompeo, and the people of the United States for bringing us home. We thank God, and all our families and friends who prayed for us and for our return. God Bless America, the greatest nation in the world.”

Dollars for Scholars Awards Night at Lake Worth High School
Lake Worth Dollars for Scholars chapter, part of Scholarship America, a national scholarship and educational program, will hand out $129,500 in scholarships to 70 students Thursday night at its 20th annual event.
“That’s a record amount for us,” said David Cantley, the foundation’s 79-year-old co-founder and Lake Worth High School’s principal for nearly two decades before retiring in 1999. “Last year we awarded $120,000, so this is the most we’ve ever done.”

President Trump pulls out of Iran deal

The first Muslim to be elected to Congress and now the Democratic National Committee (DNC) deputy chair, Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota sported a T-shirt calling for the elimination of national borders while walking in a May Day parade on Saturday.
Yesterday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) published a video of Ellison greeting parade marchers in Minneapolis while wearing the shirt, which read, “yo no creo en fronteras.” That translates to “I don’t believe in borders.” [Dennis Michael Lynch]

The Bad Iranian Deal
At 2pm today, the President will decide about the bad Iranian deal. Leaders from France and Germany have lobbied him and all Democrats want the deal to stay intact even though it is a bad deal.

Patrick Murphy, who crossed the aisle to vote with Republicans on several issues, supported the Iran deal.
The House voted against the deal by a 269-to-162 margin in September 2015. No Republicans supported the agreement and 25 Democrats joined them in opposing the president."
The Democrats will vote against anything President Trump wants to do even when proven to them it is a bad deal. Iran will eventually get nuclear weapons. Voting to stay in the deal is just kicking the can down the road until they do.

A low-life dumped a pregnant dog on the side of the road
The driver sped away and the little dog was panic stricken. She kept crossing Lake Osborne Drive and running around the neighborhood, confused and alone.
It was a fun morning yesterday. At any given time, there were at least 4-5 PBSO vehicles as well as Animal Rescue and Control at the scene adjacent to where I live. We were told not to approach the poor, unfortunate animal that ran around for two hours determined not to be caught but in the end, she hid under a bush, tired and scared.
To the piece of trash who dumped her from his car, you are one miserable person--notice I did not say "human being." You are certainly one with zero humanity and I would think that the rest of your life will be tricky for you..
