President Donald Trump issued a direct call to action for the people of Iran on Tuesday, urging "patriots" to seize control of the country’s institutions. The President also announced he has canceled all diplomatic meetings with the Iranian regime until the violent crackdown on demonstrators ends.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump vowed that those responsible for the deaths of anti-regime protesters would "pay a big price." His comments come as the Iranian government continues to use deadly force and a total internet blackout to suppress a nationwide uprising.

"Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING - TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!" Trump wrote. "Save the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a big price. HELP IS ON ITS WAY."
