The modern Left doesn’t fear God. It fears limits. It fears hierarchy. It fears the idea that not everything is infinitely malleable. A creator implies design. Design implies intention. Intention implies standards. And standards imply judgment.
That’s why even a neutral acknowledgment of creation is treated as subversive. Not because it’s extreme—but because it undermines the entire moral architecture of progressive politics.
Calling God “the creator” short-circuits the Left’s favorite false choice—that either everything is random, or you’re a fundamentalist.
