Tucker Carlson walked into a packed auditorium carrying the weight of a murdered friend. The Left thought they could silence conservatives with Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Charlie Kirk was supposed to be there — talking to students, taking their questions, building the conservative movement one campus at a time like he’d done for 13 years. Instead, Kirk was shot dead by a sniper at Utah Valley University on September 10 while doing exactly what he loved most.

Carlson arrived at IU’s auditorium around 7 p.m. with his two dogs to face a packed house of more than 3,200 students and supporters who’d been lining up since 2:20 a.m. that morning.

Carlson didn’t come to give speeches. He spent his life doing that, he told the crowd, and wanted to flip the script by taking questions from anyone brave enough to step up to the microphone.
