Yes, hell has frozen over—we agree with The Washington Post. The paper’s editorial, “The Gaza ceasefire is cracking. Hamas is to blame,” acknowledged what few in the mainstream admit:

President Donald Trump’s diplomacy worked. “Consider this a win for President Donald Trump, who brought about the ceasefire,” the Post wrote.

Israel recovered its hostages, Hamas began collapsing, and Qatar abandoned its onetime proxies. Trump’s strategy—letting terrorists destroy themselves while regional powers pursue profit—has redefined Middle East peace.

Against every prediction, it appears the art of the deal succeeded where generations of career diplomats failed. [Richard Luthmann]
