Evening Sky 10-29-25

When Gavin Newsom attacked President Trump’s privately funded $300 million White House ballroom as “bulldozing the people’s house,” he forgot about his own glass mansion in Sacramento.

California’s Capitol Annex “renovation” has ballooned from $543 million to $1.1 billion — all taxpayer money.

Newsom’s allies rewrote laws to dodge environmental rules, handed out no-bid contracts, and gagged 2,000 workers with NDAs.

While Trump’s project used private donations and followed preservation guidelines, Newsom’s team exempted itself from the very standards it enforces on everyone else.

His outrage rings hollow when his own billion-dollar boondoggle makes Trump’s ballroom look like a bargain. [Richard Luthmann]

Good Night, Patriots!

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he had instructed the Pentagon to “immediately” resume testing nuclear weapons.

“Because of other countries testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis,” Trump said in a Truth Social post shortly before his highly anticipated meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea. “That process will begin immediately.”

THE PEACE PRESIDENT STRIKES AGAIN!!!!

@9:54...Your sarcasm is noted. He directed the Department of War to match other nations’ programs. He called the move a necessary step to maintain global parity. You don't understand this, anonymous? Sounds about right. This is to scare the hell our of our enemies, especially China.
