Lake Worth Beach Commission censures Commissioner McVoy
Summary-
At the October 21, 2025 meeting, Commissioner McVoy shouted out to a member of our public during public commentary that she was a Liar. She didn't lie about anything.
In an earlier commission meeting, he accused the rest of the commission of taking bribes--no proof but repeated something he had heard in the community he said.
His behavior was reprehensible and unprofessional for an elected official. As Commissioner Segrich said, public commentary is sacred. And a charge of pay-to-play was shocking based on ridiculous political rumors.
At the 4:34:41 mark, Commissioner Segrich made a motion to censure Commissioner McVoy.
A public censure is a public condemnation that involves the censured individual having to stand and listen as the resolution is read aloud, which is intended to be a source of embarrassment and shame. He had no shame and never apologized. The vote was 4/1 with McVoy dissenting.

I've never really liked him I think he's just a huge hypocrite and a fraud and another one that is completely deranged full of a lot of hate and completely liberal left lunatic crazy. I'm glad that it's all catching up to him and people are seeing the truth about this evil whack job! He likes to disguise himself is some kind of a conservative caring about the environment just another real wacko!
He cares more about illegal immigrants than he does about Americans or good tax paying hardworking citizens! I wonder why he really lost his job remember he used to work at the South Florida Water Management District or something like that and then he was fired! Do we really know the truth why he was fired? Or let go?
I agree public comments is sacred and the public has a right to speak and not to be chastised or yelled at or told that they're Liars when they're just speaking their mind and speaking what they feel is the truth. Respect people's public comments dumbo!
He's another freeloader off the city taxpayers how long has he been in office a very long time and several different times! All he loves is all the government perks and all the freebies in incentives that he gets from being an elected in the city anyway that's all he really cares about!
He wanted to shutdown Alligator Alcatraz. He has an affinity for illegal aliens. What's going on with you Commissioner? Democrats don't like free speech unless it agrees with their beliefs. Peggy held her own but it should never have happened.
The only thing is that Democrats don't like free speech when it contradicts their narrative! It's just like at the universities all the University faculty they're always talking about Free Speech Free Speech Free Speech all the time but there is a limit to when you're free speech crosses the line and goes into violence and hate like what happened to FAU with some of those professors and across the country and I agree that Democrats are just big Hypocrites they have to be the biggest haters and the most violent corrupt people we've ever seen in the history of our country right now, they're really not the true Democrats that we saw 50 years ago!
Are there any real Republicans are conservative Christians left in Lake Worth right now?
