Johnson says Zelensky has done ‘about-face’ on mineral deal
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said during a radio interview that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has done a complete “about-face” on the U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal that was not signed after a heated meeting between the two delegations late last month.“I’m really grateful and glad that Zelensky, in the last several days, has done an about-face. He’s effectively apologized for all that.
And he said, ‘Oh no, no, we would like that deal after all.’ I think he had a rude awakening,” Johnson said during his Saturday appearance on John Catsimatidis’s radio show “Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM.
Shortly after the heated meeting, Zelensky said he would not apologize. Days later, he described the meeting as a “regrettable” gathering. Ukraine’s leader also wrote that he is ready to sign the minerals deal, arguing it would be a “step toward greater security and solid security guarantees.”
Backers of the deal said the agreement would provide Washington with a strong argument to defend Ukraine against potential future aggression from the Kremlin.

It was ready a few days after the meeting when he was in England. This BBC clip is from March 2. Today is almost a week and a half later.

LOL--You still think this is some sort of breaking news? He hasn't signed it anonymous...still on the table. It doesn't matter about when The Hill wrote this article...it has not been SIGNED by Zelensky or anyone else.
Zelensky, anonymous, should get back with Trump and sign the deal. He needs to apologize first for being a first class jerk and unappreciative for everything this country has done for him. As far as this blog not being your breaking news site, neither is the majority of stuff that appears on the Internet. Blogs are written in advance. Try writing one. You wouldn't know how. Get lost. Mike Johnson is correct. Write your own blog. Do NOT attempt to write mine. I love the delete button.

Actually, anonymous, I'm rather sure that I do. Nice talking to you today.
Not to speak ill of the dead, but somehow, I think John McCain had something to do with this whole Zelensky thing. 2014 needs to be studied as to why Ukraine wound up where it is today. Another notorious meddler in out Ukraine Policy: Victoria Nuland.
Much more important than who took the plane to Fantasy Island or whatever it was called with Epstein, but the American Mind can't handle anything too important.
