Trump and Putin outline ceasefire plans in Middle East

A highly significant diplomatic engagement unfolded this Tuesday when President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin, concluded a 90-minute phone call aiming to chart a path towards peace in the war-ravaged Ukraine.

During their conversation, the leaders decided to start peace negotiations immediately with plans to establish ceases in regional conflicts and address broader bilateral issues, Fox News reported.

White House spokesperson Dan Scavino confirmed that the phone discussion, which spanned from 10 a.m. to just before 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, centered heavily on finding a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict and bettering U.S.-Russia relations.

President Trump and President Putin spoke about the need for peace and a ceasefire in the Ukraine war. Both leaders agreed this conflict needs to end with a lasting peace.

You are not quite getting the full picture here. Trump is negotiating a peace deal on Ukraine and Putin has to weigh in and agree. Trump has to include all sides in order to end this war.
