Just build the damn pool and locker rooms.

Many of the people who used this pool are no longer living. I'm curious: Who are they building this pool for? The children of the families that they are building the affordable housing for?

Are they going to charge for this pool?

Or is this pool just a Shrine to the memory of the people who can't seem to move on and bask in the sunlight of happier times.

@4:22...why are you always so insulting?
We want a pool there, the locker rooms re-done and not spend a small fortune doing it.
There is always a charge for the pool.

Anon@422...The beach is the face of Tourism for Lake Worth Beach. Obviously the thought of tourism disgusts you. For a majority of Lake Worth residents a strong Tourism economy in Lake Worth would improve their lives. I don't know that I am in the mood to teach Florida Tourism 101 to you just now...but perhaps tomorrow.

Then there is the far more obvious need at a beach where about 70 % of the beach goers DO NOT KOW HOW TO SWIM...The pool at the beach is the intelligent place to RIGHT THIS WRONG.
5 OR 10 miles inland would out of sight and out of mind.

We’d like it 5 or 10 blocks west of the beach not 5 or 10 miles, why you lie?

@11:04...why do you want to move the pool? It's in a perfect location at the beach and it's been there for how many decades now? Why do people want to change everything? Give me your reasoning.

Be careful what you wish for!

I trust my friends and neighbors, I don’t trust wannabe artists and people who are emotional rather then fiscally responsible.
I don’t trust the city to run or maintain a new pool, just look at the Lake Worth Theater and its condition smack in the middle of our downtown with peeling paint and trash on its doorstep every day. What’s going on with the upper level on the “Casino “ building, storing tables and chairs, get real!

70% of beach goers don’t go to the beach to swim Danny. Let me guess we need the pool so kids don’t drown and die, it’s for the children say the pervs, this town is full of freaks.where’s Javier del sol, where’s is buddy’s at?sickoz.
