America now in the Grapefruit League

I used to absolutely love Hillary Clinton inspite of how she handled her husband's disgusting indiscretions.  I wanted her to be the first woman president of the United States. Any normal woman would have kicked the bum out...not Hillary.  She pulled a Tammy Wynette and stood by her man even after he was impeached by Congress. In spite of it all, they are still a "team," even if it is based on politics and power.

Mrs. Clinton appeared on CNN and I watched off and on for a total of 4 minutes knowing it would be the same old political mumbo jumbo. She was asked by Diane Sawyer if the Benghazi probe would deter a White House bid. Her reply? A political BS sound bite written by some democratic operative I would imagine.

She said that it has made her even more enthusiastic about running. “Actually, it is more of a reason to run because I do not believe our great country should be playing minor league ball. We ought to be in the majors. And I view this as really apart from, even a diversion from the hard work that the Congress should be doing about the problems facing our country and the world."  When asked what she could have done personally to ensure that her department could have given better protection in Benghazi, she indicated that she relied on the experts to give her the advice--“That’s why we hire people who have that expertise.”

Democrats have all of the political blame game answers and that is why we will remain in the minors for another few years.
