Panhandlers and Homeless -- Downtown Lake Worth yesterday

Comment Up
Well, we might have oodles of ordinances in Lake Worth
but this problem is not going away. This is happening at the entrance of our downtown, ignored by law enforcement.
Homeless and Hungry the sign says
On weekends, you can see her hanging out across from City Hall
Why can't the PBSO tell these people to move on?
In our Cultural Plaza.
Can we tell these people they are not fitting in to our culture?

The problem is our city police, the PBSO, are wimps, they do not enforce hardly anything in this city. Anything goes here!

The bikers in this city too, break so many laws and put themselves, the pedestrians, and other drivers at such risk. The bikers are supposed to follow all the same rules of the road that cars do, yet they do whatever the hell they want, and the PBSO never enforce anything on them.

It is crazy here, so many laws and codes, yet we can't get our city officials or the PBSO to enforce anything. It is crazy, a banana republic it seems.

Please, PBSO does nothing. When you call about these issues, half the time they say they won't enforce our local ordinances. Although in this instance I don't think its a local ordinance. PBSO is basically non-existent in the city, you hardly ever see them and I never, ever see them actually engaged in law enforcement.
