Going to Pot

Comment Up

Obama ignoring the Constitution and "with bigger fish to fry,"

says he won't go after Washington and Colorado for recreational marijuana use where voters have legalized it even though growing, selling or possessing any amount of marijuana remains illegal under federal law.

The Supreme Court allowed Congress to regulate growing crops because they had the possibility of ending up in interstate commerce. Therefore the growing of marijuana falls under the Interstate Commerce Clause. Also, marijuana is a Schedule 1 controlled substance, like heroin, according to federal law.

Lynn, pot laws are no where in the constitution and that supreme court ruling had nothing to do with pot.

Please tell me the difference between pot and alcohol? The difference between pot and cigarettes?

Hell some of the things at McDonald's are more dangerous.
