A Proclamation will be read by City Commissioner Suzanne Mulvehill declaring October 2010 Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Lake Worth. The event takes place at 6:45pm tonight, October 1, 2010, on the steps of City Hall, 7 North Dixie Highway.The purple lights will remain on for the month of October bringing continued awareness to the issue of domestic violence and the effect it has on children and families. All are invited to attend.
