Minnesota's shadow looms over Ohio

Red State Outed in New Somali Childcare Fraud Scandal, RINO Governor Ignores It

Red State Outed in New Somali Childcare Fraud Scandal, RINO Governor Ignores It

The ‘Cost of Doing Business’ Is Betrayal

While patriots like Josh Williams are ready to fight, the Mike DeWine administration is content to point to flimsy “anti-fraud measures” that they implicitly admit are broken. They see a raging fire and respond by drafting a memo about the historical prevalence of arson.

This weak-kneed response is an insult to every Ohioan. It signals that the governor’s mansion is occupied by an administrator, not a leader. In an era where conservatives are demanding fighters who will defend their values and their wallets, Governor DeWine has shown he is merely a caretaker of a corrupt system.

And here’s the truly infuriating part. This isn’t some brand-new scheme nobody saw coming. We’ve already seen this horror movie. It played out right next door in Minnesota, which was rocked by one of the largest COVID-era fraud schemes in the nation. Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars were stolen through fake meal programs, much of it orchestrated within the state’s large Somali community.

The warning signs for Ohio could not be clearer. As the Breitbart report notes, “Columbus is the second largest home to Somalis in the country after Minneapolis, Minnesota.” This is not an attack on a community; it is a recognition of a pattern.

A massive, brazen fraud was perpetrated by members of a specific community in one state, and now an identical situation is brewing in another state with a large population from that same community.

Recognizing Somaliland isn’t a radical gamble. It’s a long-overdue admission of reality.

For more than three decades, Somaliland has done what Somalia has not: govern itself, secure its territory, hold elections, and keep jihadists out—without massive U.S. troop deployments or endless foreign aid.

Somaliland is a self-declared independent republic in northwestern Somalia, separate since 1991, with its own stable government, currency, and military, while Somalia is the internationally recognized federal state controlling the rest, often unstable and struggling with militancy, with both entities claiming sovereignty over the same territory.

While Washington kept pretending Mogadishu controlled the map, Somaliland quietly built a functioning state along one of the world’s most strategic waterways.

This isn’t about symbolism or diplomatic etiquette. It’s about rewarding competence over corruption, stability over chaos, and facts over fictions.

Maduro wants Trump to start talking seriously 🤣

Maduro Signals Openness To Drug And Oil Talks After Military Strikes

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced on Thursday that his government is "ready" to negotiate a drug-trafficking agreement with the United States.

This follows months of escalating military pressure from the Trump administration, including a recent land strike on a Venezuelan port.

Maduro made the comments during a pre-taped interview with Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet, stating that Venezuela is prepared to talk "whenever they want it, wherever they want it and however they want it."

He called on the U.S. to "start talking seriously, with data in hand," regarding narcotics and oil investment.

In the meantime, the Trump administration has continued to intensify pressure, recently designating the Maduro regime as a foreign terrorist organization.

Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick Indicted

Florida lawmaker’s holiday photo sparks questions over edited jewelry

Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida shared a Christmas greeting that’s raising eyebrows for reasons beyond festive cheer.

The holiday message, posted on social media with an official portrait, seems to have been digitally altered to remove a yellow diamond ring from her finger, the Daily Caller reported. Observers quickly pointed out the apparent edit, sparking a flurry of speculation.

The timing of this photo tweak couldn’t be worse for the congresswoman. She’s already under intense scrutiny after being indicted in November for allegedly misusing $5 million in FEMA disaster relief funds.

Prosecutors claim Cherfilus-McCormick diverted $109,000 of those federal funds to buy a “Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond” ring. That description aligns suspiciously with the jewelry seemingly erased from her holiday portrait.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi didn’t mince words about the gravity of the accusations. She declared, “Using disaster relief funds for self-enrichment is a particularly selfish, cynical crime,” emphasizing accountability for those in power.

Bondi’s stance underscores a broader frustration with public officials who seem to treat taxpayer money as a personal piggy bank. If proven, these charges paint a damning picture of entitlement at the expense of disaster victims.

The potential consequences are steep, with a conviction carrying up to 53 years in prison. That’s a long shadow over a career built on public trust, now seemingly fractured by greed.

Jack Smith obstructed Justice

Jack Smith Admits Judges Not Told of GOP Phone Seizures

Jack Smith admitted that judges were not told his team was seizing the phone records of Republican congressmen when asked to sign off on nondisclosure orders for associated subpoenas, according to a transcript of the ex-special counsel's deposition obtained by the New York Post on Wednesday.

Smith told members of the House Judiciary Committee in his testimony on Dec. 17 that keeping the subpoenas — which were part of the FBI's investigation into 2020 election interference — hidden was necessary to avoid a "grave risk of obstruction of justice."

Asked by a Judiciary Committee member whether judges who approved the subpoenas knew they were demanding that AT&T and Verizon hand over the call logs of lawmakers, Smith said, "I don't think we identified that, because I don't think that was department policy at the time."

Judiciary members said Smith's team risked infringing on constitutional "speech or debate protections" for lawmakers — about a dozen of whom had their cellphone metadata taken.

George Clooney swiped by Trump after getting French citizenship

President Trump Blasts George Clooney Following French Citizenship News

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to blast actor George Clooney following reports that the star and his family were granted French citizenship.

Trump mocked Clooney’s career and his history of political activism, labeling him one of the "worst political prognosticators of all time."

The President linked the move to his ongoing criticism of open-border policies. He stated, "George and Amal Clooney... have officially become citizens of France which is, sadly, in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden."

Trump further diminished Clooney’s standing in Hollywood, claiming the actor was never a true movie star. "Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies," the President wrote.

The post also highlighted Clooney's role in Democrat fundraising and his public push for Joe Biden to exit the 2024 race. Trump characterized the actor as "just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics." Source: DailyPatriot

Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tells Border Patrol official his 'day of reckoning is fast approaching'

'Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years,' senior Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino wrote on X

As senior U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino continued to suggest that the agency will be in Chicago "for years," former Windy City Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the federal official that his "day of reckoning is fast approaching."

"If you think we’re done with Chicago, you’d better check yourself before you wreck yourself," Bovino, commander of Operation At Large in California, wrote in a post on X.

"Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years," he added in a play on lyrics in LL Cool J's song, "Mama Said Knock You Out," which plays in the background of a video montage included in the post.

The same people who for four years either ignored or outright cheered the weaponization of the justice system and government censorship of the Internet now claim to be terrified of the threat to free speech by the Administration that’s fighting to end all that.

We also have the genuinely weird experience of hearing Democrats rail about “affordability” when Biden’s policies brought us 9% inflation and a loss of over $3000 in average income, while Trump has dropped inflation to 2.7%, brought gas prices back down to the $2-a-gallon range, and increased real incomes by over $1200.

It’s pure propaganda with a Goebbels level of honesty, but the Democrats believe it will return them to power in the midterms. The scary thing is that it just might.

Mike Huckabee reminds us is that Trump’s first term wrought an economic miracle that it took COVID to derail, including 400,000 new jobs created, the highest-ever median household income and near-50-year low unemployment across all demographic groups. [Dave Barry,Substack]

And what did voters do in the 2018 midterms? After hearing two years of relentless attacks on Trump, they turned out in high numbers to elect 40 more Democrats who took back the House, blocked Trump’s America First agenda and gave us two years of pointless, expensive investigations, partisan lawfare and impeachment theater.

This could happen again in 2026, and we guarantee that it would bring the exact same results. [Dave Barry-Substack]

Brian Cole, Jr. confessed planting pipe bombs

Judge delays ruling on Jan. 6 bomb suspect's pre-trial detention

Is justice delayed justice denied in the case of a suspected Jan. 6 bomb plotter?

This week, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., postponed a critical decision about whether Brian Cole Jr., accused of planting pipe bombs, should remain behind bars before trial, as Courthouse News Service reports.

This high-stakes hearing, centered on Cole’s alleged role in placing explosive devices near the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021, featured intense debate over his release despite a reported confession.

According to the government, Cole spent months gathering materials, learning to build bombs through online videos and video games. He allegedly targeted both political party headquarters, believing they held responsibility during the 2020 election certification process.

“By his own admission, the defendant committed these acts because he was unhappy with the response of political leaders on both sides to questions about the 2020 election results, and ‘something just snapped,’” wrote prosecutors in a memorandum.

Under President Donald Trump’s administration, such confessions demand ironclad accountability, not leniency that risks public safety.

Documents disappeared at Minneapolis Day Care Center

Alleged Minneapolis daycare break-in spurs skepticism amid fraud reports

Could a mysterious break-in at a Minneapolis day care be the tip of a much larger iceberg?

On Dec. 30, Nakomis Day Care Center, a Somali-run facility, reported an intrusion that has raised eyebrows amid a staggering fraud scandal gripping Minnesota’s human services programs.

This incident, in which the day care claimed theft of vital records while police initially found no reported loss, unfolds against the backdrop of a multibillion-dollar fraud investigation targeting similar facilities in Minnesota, as the New York Post reports.

The trouble began on Tuesday, when Nakomis Day Care Center alleged an intruder accessed the building. The suspect reportedly entered via the kitchen at the rear, damaged a wall, and breached the office space.

According to the day care, critical documents—enrollment data for children, employee files, and even checkbooks—were stolen. Yet, the Minneapolis Police Department’s preliminary report noted something peculiar: no loss was reported to officers at the time.

Minnesota Star Tribune Made One Decision About Nick Shirley’s Video That Ended Their Credibility

The biggest fraud story in Minnesota history went viral

Millions and millions of Americans took notice. And the Minnesota Star Tribune made a choice that left jaws on the floor.
YouTuber Nick Shirley did something Minnesota's legacy media wouldn't do.He knocked on doors and asked questions.

Shirley's 42-minute video, released the Friday after Christmas, documented his visits to supposedly operational daycare centers across Minneapolis. What he found shocked the nation.

The first facility he visited should have housed 99 children and received $1.9 million in fiscal year 2025 alone.

Total disbursements to this single center topped $4 million. But when Shirley approached the building, labeled "Quality Learing Center" with "learning" grotesquely misspelled on the sign, no children were visible anywhere.

The office appeared completely closed.

Mamdani-Endorsed Candidate Called July 4th and Veterans Day Symbols of ‘Destruction’ in Resurfaced Posts

Councilman Robert Holden, a Queens Democrat with a moderate streak, didn’t mince words:
When Zohran Mamdani backs candidates like Aber Kawas who openly hate Labor Day, Veterans Day, and the American Dream, it’s a warning sign that we need to stop electing people who despise this country and everything it stands for.

On top of that, he added what many Americans already know in their bones: “Socialism has failed everywhere, and it’s flat-out un-American.”

Payments went to Dead People and Illegals

Report Reveals $5.8 Billion in ‘Questionable’ Payments to Dead Tenants and Non-Citizens Under Biden

There’s an old saying about trust: it takes years to build and seconds to destroy.

The same might be said of taxpayer dollars—earned through sweat and sacrifice, collected by a government that promises to spend them wisely, and supposedly directed toward those who genuinely need help. Most Americans accept that some of their hard-earned money will go toward keeping vulnerable neighbors housed. That’s the deal we make.

But here’s the thing about deals: they only work when both sides hold up their end. What happens when the people entrusted with billions simply stop paying attention? Or worse, what if they never really cared to begin with?

A damning new report from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development answers that question in devastating detail. According to HUD’s Agency Financial Report for fiscal year 2025, approximately $5.8 billion in federal rental assistance went to “questionable” recipients during fiscal year 2024 alone—out of roughly $50 billion distributed that year.

Let that sink in: more than one in ten dollars went somewhere it probably shouldn’t have.
