Community (Crime) Walk
Greetings,
Craig Frost, the new Pineapple Beach Neighborhood President, is coordinating a Community Walk (formerly called a crime walk) in his neighborhood on Sunday, April 9th at 4 p.m. We can meet at 3:45 p.m. outside of South Grade Elementary. I will be there with mounted unit deputies. Hopefully we have a great turnout.

Commissioner Robinson’s appointment of William Feldkamp to the Historic Resources Preservation Board to fill an unexpired term ending on July 31, 2019. This was District 2 Commissioner’s appointment; however, District 2 Commissioner waived his right to appoint to the Commission.
City Tree Board:
Commissioner Robinson’s appointment of Gary Antieau to the City Tree Board to fill an unexpired term ending on July 31, 2019. This was the Vice Mayor’s appointment; however, the Vice Mayor waived his right to appoint to the Commission

It is hard to divide the fake news from the real news lately.
Has anybody actually seen this immunity request? Maybe the media should wait until they actually have real news to report." Cat Eyes
These "purrty" balls of "fur" live on S. Lakeside Drive. My-Kel, along with 19 year old Tuxedo and Lily Monet, the masters of Barbara Jean's home. Her cats know she is the "cat's meow." They are treated royally, loved like family and Barbara Jean even cooks special foods for them.

Ending Chain Migration
[Numbers USA] When a mainstream media outlet calls for an end to Chain Migration, the debate over legal immigration is heading in the right direction!
Earlier this week, the editorial board for the nation's largest newspaper, USA Today, offered a quasi-endorsement of Pres. Trump's proposal to move the legal immigration system away from favoring extended family connections and towards placing a greater emphasis on one's skills.
Although I disagree with the writer on his opinion that Trump has a bad idea on building the wall and his immigration temporary travel ban, read USA Today's article, Merit Based System. The answer is to trim family immigration and increase the number of immigrants picked for their employment qualifications.
Family reunification allows U.S. citizens and immigrants (Lawful Permanent Resident or "Green card" holders) to petition for visas for their immediate relatives and immigration has quadrupled since the 1960's. Wikipedia
