Benghazi Attack Suspect Brought to U.S. to Face Murder Charges as Bondi Invokes Clinton's Dismissal
Zubayr Al-Bakoush, accused of leading the 2012 assault on two U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, landed at Joint Base Andrews at 3 a.m. to face murder charges.The Trump administration captured Al-Bakoush and brought him to American soil — more than a decade after the attack that killed four Americans.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the development at a press conference on Friday, and she didn't waste the moment.
"Hillary Clinton famously once said about Benghazi, what difference does it make? Well it makes a difference to Donald Trump and it makes a difference to those families."
According to the Daily Mail, there are four Americans who never came home: Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. Information officer Sean Smith. Security contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. For their families, the question was never rhetorical.
