Week in Review: Tackling Misinformation and Passing Legislation
There’s been a lot of misinformation coming from the left on tariffs, the budget deal, and fake cuts to Social Security and Medicare. So let’s talk about what’s really going on.Over the last four years, America has been taken advantage of by our trading partners around the globe. Now, we finally have a President who isn’t scared to make the hard calls and stand up for us. This is not a time to panic. This is a time to focus on our goal and watch nations run to the negotiating table. We’ve already seen 70 countries want to make a deal, and this is just the beginning.
We also passed a budget resolution this week in the U.S. House. We’ve talked about this before, but I want to be clear: there are no cuts to Medicaid or Social Security. This bill does not change a single current law or program. This is just another step to bring us closer to passing President Trump’s one, big, beautiful bill, and I’ll make sure to continue to keep you updated on the process along the way.
