More Burglaries in Lake Worth Beach

'I wanted to go in the house': Man accused of back-to-back Lake Worth Beach break ins

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Lake Worth Beach man accused of back-to-back burglaries tried to throw deputies off with a teenage alias, but forgot about the beer in his hand and surveillance footage.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) responded to the 200 block of N F Street in Lake Worth Beach after a woman reported that a man had tried to dismantle her window in an attempt to break into her home.

She told deputies that after confronting the suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Minner Lux-Ralda, he fled the scene on a bicycle.

The victim gave deputies video surveillance footage and allowed investigators to take fingerprints from the windowpane, which were collected for evidence.

Hours later, and only blocks from the first scene, another burglary was reported.
