Sunset 4-17-25

"President Trump’s near-miss at a Pennsylvania rally last summer left him bleeding from his ear, just inches from death. Months later, another close call on a Florida golf course.

Now, federal authorities reveal yet another plot against our Commander-in-Chief has been thwarted – the third serious threat in less than a year. And honestly, I’m starting to wonder if anyone in the mainstream media even cares. We know that Democrats do not.

Federal investigators have now disclosed that Nikita Casap wasn’t just accused of killing his parents – he was allegedly plotting to assassinate President Donald Trump as part of a larger extremist agenda.

This case represents the third serious threat against President Trump in less than a year. While our Commander-in-Chief works tirelessly to make America great again – creating jobs, securing our borders, and strengthening our position globally – he does so under the constant shadow of potential violence.

Good Night, Patriots!

In the beginning there was agony. Under the empires of old, the strong did what they willed and the weak suffered what they must.

But over the centuries, people built the sinews of civilization: Constitutions to restrain power, international alliances to promote peace, legal systems to peacefully settle disputes, scientific institutions to cure disease, news outlets to advance public understanding, charitable organizations to ease suffering, businesses to build wealth and spread prosperity, and universities to preserve, transmit and advance the glories of our way of life. These institutions make our lives sweet, loving and creative, rather than nasty, brutish and short.

Trumpism is threatening all of that. It is primarily about the acquisition of power — power for its own sake. It is a multifront assault to make the earth a playground for ruthless men, so of course any institutions that might restrain power must be weakened or destroyed. Trumpism is about ego, appetite and acquisitiveness and is driven by a primal aversion to the higher elements of the human spirit — learning, compassion, scientific wonder, the pursuit of justice.

Anon@8:44...The reality is that Nations formed to protect the tribes and Chiefs from being raided and killed by other tribes/groups that desired their resources. Alliances were not related to peace, they were about creating a combined strength that would prevent enemy groups from successful raiding /invasion, and from taking everything that they wanted.

Constitutions were made to make the peasant class compliant to the will of the rulers. When the wording helped the peasants to believe their rights were protected, they were more likely to comply.

Even religion was such a tool—the original utility of religions was to use Fear of eternal damnation as a way to enforce basic laws like not killing, stealing, etc....to a population too poorly educated to understand ethics. In the middle ages, religion and kings ruled together. And still, there was a wealthy rulling class that existed above all constitutions, and that would not be involved with disputes with the church.

Those "Ruling Families" still exist today, and they still rule the peasants under the pretense of presidents and kings being in charge-- With the possible exception of Trump 🙂
