* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Periods of heavy rainfall is expected this morning through early this evening across the east coast metro. Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with locally higher amounts of 6+ inches are possible. This rainfall when combined with already high soil moistures from previous heavy rain, may result in flooding today, especially across poor drainage locations. - Weather.gov
