Mike Johnson on Human Dignity

Because all men are created equal and in the image of God, every human life has inestimable dignity and value, and every person should be measured only by the content of their character.

A just government protects life, honors marriage and family as the primary institutions of a healthy society, and embraces the vital cultural influences of religion and morality.

Public policy should always encourage education and emphasize the virtue of hard work as a pathway out of-poverty, while public assistance programs should be reserved only for those who are truly in need.

In America, everyone who plays by the rules should get a fair shot. By preserving these ideals, we will maintain the goodness of America that has been the secret to our greatness.

God bless him for valuing the life of babies in the womb we must respect all life protect the innocent helpless voiceless babies and stop all abortion in this country. Abortion should not be a form of birth control only less than 2% is rape and incest and we keep allowing all the abortion killing a soul from God a human life it's a sin and it needs to be stopped. I applaud Johnson for addressing this and being one of the only ones will be so vocal about it all lives matter to God!

@2:09...the only wrong chapter or verse can only be regarded as bad by people with a preconceived agenda.

Let's not turn the place into a Theocracy!

@7:55 Back in 2011 the House voted to reaffirm that our National Motto is "In God We Trust" on a vote of 396 to 9.
No theocracy. Only Democrats complain and on top of that, our nation was founded on believing in God.

That's really only an approximation of the thinking of Jefferson and Adams. They were Deists.

They studied the Bible, as they studied many other texts, but what they believed in, was a Supreme Being.

There is no shortage of the writings of Jefferson and Adams, if you want to familiarize yourself with their beliefs.

They most certainly did not believe in a Theocracy.
