El Paso’s Democrat mayor just channeled his inner Greg Abbott in a move sure to leave Eric Adams seething

The city of El Paso, Texas is on the frontlines of the illegal immigrant invasion that has accelerated since Joe Biden assumed the presidency.

With 2000 or more immigrants crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico into the United States every day, the city’s shelters and resources have been stretched beyond the breaking point.

Indeed, this Democrat-manufactured crisis is only worsening as the Biden administration fails to enforce immigration laws with its de facto open-door policy.

To wit, illegal immigrant encounters at the southern border reached 233,000 last month, making it the highest August on record for this activity, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

That number alone is a huge increase from the already sky-high 184,000 encounters in July.

Democrats have ignored the problem and have pretended it simply doesn’t exist, as acknowledging such would shine a negative light on the Biden White House, potentially imperiling other elected officials on team blue.
