Kill order for New Mexico feral cows issued by US officials
I read about this today in The Palm Beach Post and could not believe the insanity.U.S. forest managers in New Mexico are moving ahead with plans to kill unbranded cattle they say are threatening public safety and natural resources in the nation's first designated wilderness. The kill range is 160 miles.
Instead of rounding them up and taking them to a secure area, they are going to start shooting them to death in the vast Gila Wilderness and let their carcasses rot and be eaten by scavangers.
Apparently phony environmental groups put pressure on the forest managers because they said that about 150 cows' hooves and mouths are damaging streams and rivers. Unbelievable!

Just a ways of taxpayers money ammo time to go out there and shoot it they could tell the people that live in the area shoot a cow we'll tag it and you can butcher it but no they don't want to do that they'd rather waste all that perfectly good food instead of giving it to probably starving families but again that's the United States government for you
The country has gone bonkers
I could throw-up!
Isn't this pathetic. Remember the fuss they made about Palin shooting wolves from helicopters.
The government has gone mad. No other explanation.
