Street Painting Owl from 2012
"Whether you're looking for a Picasso on pavement, a roadway Rembrandt or even a Basquiat on the boulevard there's a chance you can find it in downtown Lake Worth Beach this weekend.
That's right, it's time for the 29th Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival, first started by Bo and Erin Allen.
Held 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, the festival will feature hundreds of chalk artists.
Drawing tens of thousands of visitors and art fans, the event will transform Lake and Lucerne avenues into temporary outdoor museums for one of the county's signature events, anticipated by residents and visitors alike.
"We love sharing our city with residents, their families and visitors from all over the world during this unique event," said Lake Worth Beach Mayor Betty Resch." [PalmBeachPost]
