Volodymyr Zelensky warns Americans of the consequences they will face if America stops backing Ukraine

Zelensky's warning, according to the Washington Examiner, came during a press conference that he held on Friday, Feb. 24, the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Zelensky, during the press conference, was asked about the fact that there appears to be increasing calls, particularly in America, for the U.S. government to stop funding Ukraine. It is in response to this that Zelensky issued his warning.

"I can tell them one thing," Zelensky said. "If they do not change their opinion, if they do not understand us, if they do not support Ukraine, they will lose NATO, they will lose the clout of the United States, they will lose the leadership position they are enjoying in the world."
