Economy causing more Homeless Students

School District of Palm Beach County has growing number of homeless students

More than 3,000 students homeless, with numbers rising each week

"The number for this year is 3,883 currently," school board member Erica Whitfield said. "We add about 50 kids a week to that number."

That number was less than half of that 18 months ago.

Whitfield said 250 children are currently living in cars and it affects three of our Lake Worth Beach schools.

Under, Biden, who can afford rent? Who can afford anything?

You are never too young to learn about personal finances. So many of these cases are the result of living above ones means.

The schools fail the children on so many levels. It is a failure of the system that we continue to fund these worthless institutions, and their teachers and administrators.

When everything is free.... fake nails, weaves, beer, etc.

Housing isnt their priority. That should be free too.

How many people voted in Lake Worth? 2000? Does anybody think that this ratio of the voting public, (which is probably about the same in many areas of the country) has any real interest in solving problems?

The school board, for instance. do we have any idea who we are voting, or not voting into office; or care, until we see or hear of the dismal results.

Wake up! Ron DeSantis can't do it all for us.
