I hope they are going to improve on the job they did on 6th Avenue S. Something that everyone should be aware of: Not all asphalt is created equally. Most of the mixtures these days consist of bits of tires and various other scraps. This is why the roads only stay black for a short time and then turn grey. Why the yellow paint fades so quickly, I haven't read up on. The paving contractor should be able to provide the city with the ingredients that make up the mix. We should try to get what we pay for.
