Lake Worth, Florida – For 30 calendar days beginning Sunday October 1, 2017 until Monday October 30, 2017 the City of Lake Worth will be holding an amnesty program to allow anyone with unpaid parking citations to pay them and bring them into compliance. All citations may be paid at 414 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida 33460 either in person or by mail or online at www.remit-online.com/561001 (a $3.50 convenience fee applies).

Florida Statute F.S.S. 361.1967 (6) has a provision which is implemented to prevent persons from renewing their vehicle registration in accordance with the Department of Motor Vehicles if they have three (3) or more unpaid parking citations. The City may also apply an enforcement immobilization tool commonly called a vehicle “boot” designed to bring all vehicles with outstanding citations into compliance and will only be used after three (3) or more citations go unpaid beyond the 30 calendar day amnesty period.
