Transgenders and our Military

Trump's decision, made in counsel with his national security team and various generals,  is not to allow transgender individuals into the military. He said, "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail."

Ultra famous transgender Caitlyn Jenner is not happy with this decision nor is Tony Plakas of Lake Worth's Compass who said that it was "normalizing discrimination based on ignorance."  Others believe that the social experiment of the Obama era has crippled our nation's military.

The Kristin Beck trailer is below. She was Christian Beck, a retired U.S. Navy Seal, who did not transgender until after she was out of the military.

It should surprise no one that the same party who booed a gay soldier during the 2011 Presidential Debates would ban transgenders from the military.

It also should surprise no one that Trump went out of his way to court the LGBT community during the campaign to the extent of holding up a rainbow flag at one point.

Just another broken promise.

Unfair assessment, 10:07. Trump is not against the LGBT "community." In a recent study, it was estimated that 2,450 active-duty members were transgender and predicted that around 65 would seek to transition each year. It estimated that the cost to the Pentagon of those procedures would be $2.9 million to $4.2 million a year plus all the hormone therapy. The military wants to revert to the old policy before Obama. Trump is going to listen to his top military advisers.

First of all, the transgender designation is just another invention of the far left. If you are speaking of the rare case of a hermaphrodite, the sex of this individual was probably decided on at birth by the physician and the parents. The idea that there are tens of thousands of these unfortunate individuals running around and joining the military yet is preposterous. The fact that it is clearly one of the many mental disorders that afflict the modern American automatically disqualifies them from entering the Military to begin with. The Armed Forces are not a summer camp for misfits, and most of the American people are on board with this, whether they like Trump or not.

According to a Marine General who is part of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, there was no consultation with his military leaders. And Trump didn't recognize Gay Pride Month last month.

To be fair, I do think Trump is okay with gays. It's just that his base is so anti-gay he has to roll with it.

Money and distraction was also used as an excuse to keep women out of the service.

I don't see what B and T have in common with L and G, really. Taxpayers of any stripe shouldn't foot the bill for these operations, what next? Face transplants? Why should any politician "court" any one group when we're all equal.

I know several folks that could use a good face transplant. (As I look in the mirror)

Frankly, I know a fair number of Gay people, and I doubt they are thrilled about being lumped together with these misfits. It's like these people are just trying to grab a free ride with the homosexual community.

Well, one thing that won't keep me up at night, is whether or not Bruce Jenner is happy. He should have taken all of that money he spent on himself, and his ugly face, and donated it to a reputable charity. Another disservice that the media has brought upon us: giving these inconsequential seekers of fame the 15 minutes they crave. What was he, a tennis player? I have no idea!

They didn't defend Susan Stanton when she was called homophobic by The Cottage back then. In fact they had a big write-in from gays all over, change.org I believe, accusing the city of picking on them because they were anti-gay...playing the Gay card.

Lynn Anderson said...

That comment is unclear. The Cottage was saying that our city was anti-Gay. Crazy, right? They were making too much noise and wouldn't calm it down.

To the person who tried to post here in a very insulting way, I guess you were not here back then and forget how some of the the gays treated Susan Stanton a transgendered woman.
If you want to comment here, read my policy because when you say things like you did, it just shows your stupidity. And of course, you posted anonymously--COWARD.

Let people transition and THEN join the military. The taxpayers should NOT have to foot the bill for this. Why do people join the military? To protect this country. Not for Jane to become John and vice versa.

Brilliant move by trump. Throw the ball out into left field with an issue that less than 2% of voters care about and the entire stupid Democrat party is running after it like a hound after a fox. Only Trump is the fox.Looking ahead to 2018.
