Lake Worth Trojans on a Roll

Comment Up

It was a great night for football for two reasons--it didn't rain and Lake Worth High won! There were a few minor injuries last night--these kids were playing their hearts out.

We sat where the Alumni always sit (huge Alumni supporters, the Dorseys were there!) at the 50 yard line, a perfect spot to catch all the action.

It was an exciting game but full of penalties...118 yards and 17 infractions for Lake Worth. It got down to the last 26 seconds. We were all screaming, prayed a little, had our fingers crossed for Lake Worth to block Boynton's attempt at a field goal. And they did just that...what a night...what a win--14/13.

On October 2, Lake Worth plays Santaluces. This is Alumni Night and we want to see a lot of you at the game. The Alumni Association will be issuing announcements in the near future.

What a game! And not just at the end/ Exciting the whole night. Admission is seven dollars and there is a concession stand for eats and drinks. Bring a cushion and an umbrella(Just in case).Oh,and something to make noise with. I have my cow bell
and a lot of the football parents have their homemade bottle shakers. You can't beat the fun . Come on out and you'll be hooked!
