Now don't you think the commission or the city manager would have announced this at Tuesday's meeting? They really want to keep the residents in the dark even though commissioner Amororso wanted to put the ITN to bed. He asked for discussion and was refused because of the process.

Things that make you go hmmm.
Hard to believe that this is the end of it. What's really going on?
No one trusts Hudson Holdings, this majority commission or the city administration. We soon will know what is up their sleeve.
I'm sure this is some backroom deal/ploy. Get rid of the ITN and source the project some other way. No way are they gone from good on our beach. Read the letter, since when does a few hundred people represent the entire city.
Sounds phony to me too. They all have something up their sleeve. Just hope they are gone from the beach, but cannot trust these developers,
as we never checked them out to begin with.
The Gulfstream would make a wonderful rehab halfway house. A lot of people come to Florida in the winter for rehab.
And Maier announced at the commission meeting that he and McVoywant to host an event for the Homeless Coalition and Maier want to push for the poor Ciry of Lake Worth to build housing for the homeless.
WHAT THE F....?
We don't have money to fix the roads or keep the pool open more hours but he want us to build homeless shelters?
You know what... Just call 211 and ask what resources are available for the homeless... They have space and PBSO will give you a lift...
A huge drawback - shelters don't allow drug use or alcohol use... And many homeless are not willing or able to give those a vices up because they are addicts.
Great idea Maier... Let's build a shelter in Lake Worth so other municipalities can dump their problems in our downtown.
Ya don't see these issues on the island of Palm Beach... Ever wonder why? It's 'cause their PD immediately identifies these wonderers, escorts them to the foot of the imtracoastal bridge and points them to walk over the bridge into our lovely little city or over the bridge into West Palm Besch.
Doubt what I say? Just go look at what's enhancing our beautiful Bryant Park... Bums, drunks, vagabonds, and drug addicts. Be sure to look under the bridge at their encampment! They trash it up and vandalize the equipment like water fountains which we end up having to replace with $3000-$4000 vandal proof fountains...nice eh?
I took my kids and dog to the park to play Wedneaday, and my youngest (5) came up to me with a hypodermic needle and asked what it was.
This is totally outrageous and is a public safety issue. Get these people out of the parks so normal people can enjoy it in peace with out being harassed for money by these smelly panhandlers.
Or do we have to wait until some vigilante hero wants to plant a confederate flag thru their heart.
And what's up with the Wellingyon church who regularly feeds them in the park... I asked a nice lady why they didn't feed at their church and she said to me "oh, we really don't want THESE people in our church". Honestly I really was speechless when she said that to me.
It's all vey upsetting... And very inpleasant to be walking downtown and have to walk around or over puck, the drunks sleeping on the sidewalk, or their excrement. Even going to the library is a problem... There are drug deals going down right across the street in the Cultural Plaza in the daytime... Nights are way worst... Let's get an ordinance to close the plaza from dusk to dawn (except special events) and make some drug sweeps with K-9s, or put some undercover cops in the field to catch tjese dirtbags.
I've got PBSO (non emergency) preprogrammed I my phone and I make the call 5-6 times a week... Make the call you all!
I didn't quite hear it that way. I know that we all are very concerned about the numbers of homeless in our city. Coming up with solutions to deal with them (they are human beings) is a big challenge. It is up to our city leaders to find solutions. Let's hear what other commissioners can come up with besides taking out water fountains and park benches, a cowardly way to deal with a tremendous problem.
BYE BYE Hudson Holdings and take your 2 loser employees with you and your bought and paid commissioners.
