Gulfstream Hotel plan unrealistic
At a public meeting, Steven Michael of Hudson Holdings stated that the financing for renovating the Gulfstream Hotel in Lake Worth is not connected to renovating the buildings on our beach.
I’ll eat my hat if Hudson Holdings ever gets $60 million for the Gulfstream alone, without ever getting approval to do something with the Lake Worth Casino building.
There is nothing in Lake Worth, except our beach, that is worth investing $60 million for a two-building hotel with a total of 182 rooms and a four-story, 320-space parking garage.
