As Lake Worth has a large population of artists who are inspired by things they see, events that have transpired, feelings in general or even inspiration from the gods, this is the new painting by Jon McNaughton.
He says, "Many Americans today feel a sense of dismay and horror as we see our country in a downward spiral; both economically, morally, and politically. President Obama’s indifferent attitude and the continuous list of scandals and bad policy is leading the country to ruin."

Obama and Nero do share the same personality traits.History does repeat itself.

... "PRESERVE, PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES"! - Do you honestly feel and know in your heart this is what our President has been doing? I don’t. Mr. McNaughton’s artistic acknowledgement of this fact perfectly expresses the disturbing sadness.
I wonder why Mr. McNaughton never painted a portrait of george w bush standing in front of a burning Iraq with trillions of dollars burning in front of him?
Perhaps it is because everything Obama touches turns to *&^%. He hasn't learned anything from bad intelligence now has he? The Obama administration reminds me of the Lake Worth city commission--let's go around the people and the vote and the charter hahaha and do it "my" way.
