And speaking of fireworks, back in July 2009, the economy was forcing cities to cut back on their spending. Fireworks were on the chopping block. “Sponsorships are down about 40 percent this year for Tropic Fest,” Ramiccio said.
Lake Worth stopped funding fireworks in 2004. "This year’s (2009) fireworks at Bryant Park are being paid by the city’s Chamber of Commerce, which signed a five-year agreement to sponsor the event in 2007. Lake Worth provides police and fire protection for Tropic Fest, Red, White & Blues celebration, said Tom Ramiccio, chamber president.
Why didn't Tom Ramiccio remember that? He was there until December 17, 2009 when he was fired. Why did the city have to go through hoops to find money to pay $15,000 to Zambelli Fireworks out of the general fund? Was this Contract with the Chamber canceled or lost in the shuffle while Ramiccio was in charge?

That does sound like Tom but he would be threatening to sue, sue, sue and just being a bully in general.

I am very worried about Tom swearing in such a manner. Is this what we will get if he becomes mayor again? I say that a leopard does not change his spots.
We don't know who said it as it came in anonymously. It's sort of like the Casey Anthony case--not guilty but all the evidence says she did it or the question to ask, who else would do it? Swear words don't bother me. I don't allow them here but this was a special case. I have heard them all before. I just would like whoever it is to give me an argument showing me where I am wrong. Debate the facts.
