The project features include:
- new fishing pier
- artificial reef area
- kayak launch
- day docks for boats
- board walk through the Snook Islands Natural Area
- water taxi service to other waterfront communities

Snook Islands Recreation Project
Vice Mayor Suzanne Mulvehill has been an advocate for improving the quality of life for current residents, attracting new residents and increasing tourism. One priority besides the Casino/Beach redevelopment to achieve that end is the Snook Island's Recreation Project.
