Comment Up
What the State of Florida Says--

100.3605 Conduct of municipal elections.--

(1) The Florida Election Code, chapters 97-106, shall govern the conduct of a municipality's election in the absence of an applicable special act, charter, or ordinance provision. No charter or ordinance provision shall be adopted which conflicts with or exempts a municipality from any provision in the Florida Election Code that expressly applies to municipalities.

(2) The governing body of a municipality may, by ordinance, change the dates for qualifying and for the election of members of the governing body of the municipality and provide for the orderly transition of office resulting from such date changes.

What our Lake Worth Charter says--

Sec. 2-13. Control and conduct of elections according to state law.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in the charter and ordinances of the city, all voter registration and elections in the city shall be controlled, held and conducted, as far as practicable, according to the provisions of the laws of the state governing general state elections, such laws being incorporated herein by reference.

(b) The City of Lake Worth exempts itself from the provisions of Chapter 83-498 of Laws of Florida by opting out of the provisions for uniform filing dates and uniform election dates, and further hereby ratifies the filing dates and election dates specified by the City of Lake Worth Charter.
(Code 1956, § 14-13; Ord. No. 2007-44, § 2, 10-2-07)

The honest, fiscally resposible Supervisor of Elections(see today's P.B. Post)Susan Bucher, has ,after a study of all Elections in P.B.County's 38 small towns, concluded that it is cheaper to have ALL Towns' Elections in March. It is logical. Machinery needs only be transported once.
Not one honest answer came out of the Commission ,to vote for return to our original Lake Worth March Election date.Cara feels( acts as though she is the most important Citizen of Lake Worth and pays all our taxes),
that in March she could not get 2000 votes for her and her Candidate for Mayor of Lake Worth barely educated,Xavier who calls all residents racists, and hates basically all non Hispanic ,and Black Americans, who according to his rantings stole America from the Mexicans. This is on record many times.
We were instead tortured with 5 hours of Commission egos self aggrandizing oral diarhea.
Not one Citizens problem was adressed.Did they promise that???

Only what each Commission member wanted or felt (tax payers should go along with their petty one person desires).
We paid 1/4million in taxes, not to sit there and hear so called representatives of Lake Worth unimportant endless, boring, stupid, rehashings filled speeches.Maxwel proved to be a cowardly LITTLE mouse,
faced with an illegal who claims her fellow Coutry men drugdealers
and murderers, carjackers, muggers, shoplifters, are not illegal.

Lake Worth Citizens who voted for these useless characters deserve those insults. They should be the next victims of illegals crimes, burglaries, carjackings, shopliftings, muggings, because there are no jobs, ,rapes, etc. and thank them for it, and remind that them they are doing so, because all they do is legal.
May those who call them legal and their families, be the next victims of these legal acttions.!

Lake Worth Citizens' I do not thank you for Electing the element(turn coats, treacherous vermin) which inflicted this plague on us legitimate taxpayers and all Lake Worth Citizens who created this City.
I gave the only intelligent Citizens interest related suggestion, replace plastic bag manufacturing by recycled material bags manufacture.
But the self promoting ..... ignored it because it would partly solve a City jobless problem and concerned our City's economic health.. No concern of theirs!!!
What an insult, not a Commission meeting!

Only the Commission members personal desires and feeling are to be discussed at OUR Dais!
God deliver our City from that plague!

Themost important personal issue of the evening was ,not our staggering Utility bills, and crooked deposits, water, etc,
but their wish for a dogpark.
