Thanks to Jimbo who always wants me to know that he is a pro photographer...that I live in a crappy little building...in a crappy whatever...who sends off comments early in the morning that are always "inspirational"...a guy who has maligned me for at least 5 years.
To Wes, his sidekick. May you get a new pair of pants or see a doctor.
Thanks to Tom McGow who loves to give me writing lessons, rewrites my stories, never fails to mention if he is offended...will disagree with me on something I have written even in public...will have an opinion without knowing all of the facts...who loves to "get even" and now looks up definitions of words as if my schooling was inferior...who thinks it is funny to "put down" people by using graphics with unflattering photographs and using their name on the front page of his blog for laughs...I, having little originality, copied that idea and never would have done that without his go-ahead.
I have learned a lot. May my education continue. May this arrogance never rub off on me. May I continue to be happy with myself and my beliefs that are formed from reading, knowledge, research, and just plain engaging with life.
Thanks for the nice words...it is indeed refreshing because usually I only hear from my die-hard critics who want to denigrate and mock rather than offer an intelligent rebuttal. We have a very diverse city so at one time or another I will make everyone mad. :)
For the Tom fan who just tried posting here--I don't hate Tom, far from it. I just don't appreciate people, even Tom, making fun of people in the manner he does. Writing a counter opinion is the mature way of doing it. Would you lie your face plastered on his blog in a derogatary fashion so that your political enemies can give a thumbs up. Hey, all is fair I suppose. I just like to take a more adult approach to what I do. As far as giving Tom publicity, glad I could be of help.
